Alzheimer run in Palmyra
[ September 18, 2011; 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. ] A ride for the Alzheimer’s Association rolls out of Palmyra and the Cuppa Joe Coffeehouse, on Route 15 just south of town.
Registration is at 9 a.m. and the last bike turns wheels at 10:30 a.m.. Fees are $20 for one-up and $30 for two-up.

Ride for Roy
[ August 28, 2011; 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. ] A three-hour ride for Roy Dale Smith III Memorial Scholarship will roll out of the McGaheysville Volunteer Fire Department, 80 Stover Drive in McGaheysville with proceeds going to the fund. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
The fees are $15 per rider and $5 per passenger. The ride will end with food, prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

Buffalo Soldiers ride to Louisa
[ September 17, 2011; 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. ] Louisa County’s Buffalo Soldiers MC is hosting a Sept. 27 bike show featuring food and vendors will help benefit the Special Olympics.
A family event, the show takes place in the Louisa town park, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
