According to local SOB Stevie Lynne, as reported on Facebook, "almost 20 crazy azzes" showed up at Saturday's poker run and "rode on the edge of a hurricane" to support Evan Adams, a local youngun diagnosed with auto immune hepatitis back in February.
Ms. Lynne, who said she worked a stop on the poker run, said she returned home from the ride to find roads out and power down.
The ride was sponsored by Louisa County's Court Cafe & Pub and the pub is putting out a party again tonight for Evan, featuring Bennie Dodd from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Cheap Whiskey from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. That would be Cheap Whiskey, the band, not the drink.
The $10 entry fee includes food For more information, call (540) 967-5544.
