If you're looking for an excuse to ride, Louisa County's Court Cafe & Pub has a good one.
The pub, which has been shaken and stirred with the rest of the community this week, is throwing it down to help Evan Adams, a local diagnosed with auto immune hepatitis back in February. On Saturday, the pub is sponsoring a Poker Run Benefit for Evan Adams with registration at 8 a.m. and bikes out at 10 a.m.
The cost is $20 per bike and $10 per rider.
There will be a DJ from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. and food specials throughout the day.
On Sunday, the pub is back at it for Evan with a Benefit Concert for Evan Adams, featuring Bennie Dodd from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Cheap Whiskey from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. That would be Cheap Whiskey, the band, not the drink.
The $10 entry fee includes food For more information, call (540) 967-5544.
