Fluvanna K-9 Poker Run

[ May 7, 2011; 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. ] A benefit poker run for the Fluco Sheriff’s Department K-9 program is rolling out at 10 a.m..

Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Crofton Plaza BP station in Palmyra, 101 Crofton Place.

Price is $10 per hand and the ride is 65 miles.

Cruise for Critters

[ May 21, 2011; 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. ] A Community Motorcycle Ride & Poker Run to benefit the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.

Sponsored by the Street Thundercats Motorcycle Club, the ride is open to all bikes, all makes and all styles. All clubs are welcome.

Expect a leisurely ride through Jeffersonia to support animal care at the SPCA, with stops at three area businesses [...]

Spyder Ryders Unite!

[ April 30, 2011 1:00 pm to May 1, 2011 5:00 am. ] Virginia Power Motorsports in Ruckersville is having its first Spyder Ryde for customers and ryders of the Can Am Spyder.

All bikes are welcome. The ride leaves the store at 1:30 and more details will come.

Virginia Power Motor Sports is at8381 Seminole Trail, near US 33 and US 29 in Ruckersville.

Fallen heros, families honored in Spotsy

Spotsy County sheriff poker run

Poker Run is to raise funds for the pending Sheriff election in Spotsy County!

- $20 for riders and $10 for passengers
- Entry fee will include t-shirt and cookout at end point
