Head Honda honcho hits highway

By rainman Print Preview

Boldly going where no car could go, the head of Honda rode his trusty CB1100 around Japan to get to important Honda manufacturing and design sites shortly after the earth shook and the ocean reached up and slapped the ships right out of Japanese oceans.

According to a Wall Street Journal article, appearing recently, Takanobu Ito hopped in a Honda car to get home where he jumped on his new naked bike and road the debris-strewn streets.

The bike made it where other vehicles couldn't, Ito said.

“I saw quite a lot of roads closed right after the quake,” Mr. Ito said. “I drove around by my motorcycle from my home, and it worked,” he told reporters at the research center in Hagamachi, Tochigi.

Another reason why it's all about The Ride.
