Nelson County Meals on Wheels ride

[ April 23, 2011; ] Local meals on wheels program is sponsoring a poker run  that starts and ends at Devils Backbone Brewery.

Good food.

Great beer.

Best hand wins $250. There is also a prize for the worst hand of two VA Tech football tickets. Registration is from 9am to 11:30 and the adjacent Three Ridge Depot serves breakfast/deli [...]

Rider’s Edge alumni ride

[ April 23, 2011 to April 24, 2011. ] Staunton’s Shenandoah Harley-Davidson/Buell is sponsoring the first annual Rider’s Edge Academy of Motorcycling alumni ride.

Scottsville 100-miler

[ April 30, 2011; 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. ] RAIN DATE for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8169-sponsored a 100-mile ride through rural Jeffersonia: April 30.

The ride starts and finishes at the Scottsville post, 2977 W. River Road in Scottsville. They’ve also added a pig pickin’ as part of the package.
