Victory has a vision, a vision of Visions and 8-Balls rolling amongst Royal Enfields, Jakara's and Harleys.
It has a vision of India.
Victory, according to published press reports, will be taking its bikes on the road to Mandalay or Bombay or where ever they're going, following Harley-Davidson's lead in entering a fast-growing luxury bike market.
Harley recently opened a plant in India, allowing it to cut its prices and to sell two bikes every three days, according to the Indian press.
Back in the USA: Sales of motorcycles were down in 2010 with 82,000 fewer bikes going from dealer floor to out-the-door. About 440,000 bikes were sold in 2010.
Off-road bikes dropped the most, losing about 23 percent of their sales and highway bikes were next, losing 14.3 percent.
That's more than a 15 percent fall, which follows a rough 2009 in which about sales dropped about 40 percent.
ABS in ECU: The European Union wants to have ABS required on all motorcycles, regardless of size, by 2017. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration are pushing the same regulations for the U.S.
