Thanks to a heads-up from Motorcyclist Magazine's online edition and a quick visit to Corsa Caffe's website, one can't help but me jazzed to juice up with this Portland, Oregon coffee shop.
According to the company's site, the coffee came about because CorsaCaffe's founder Arun Sharma "is devoted to Italian motorcycles."
Seems that his trips to Italy led him to see Ducati and other rides as "the embodiment of craftsmanship, artistry and savoring the moment." The trips also exposed him to the idea of "slowing down to share coffee with friends."
An art broker, night club promoter and part-time Ducati salesman on the side, Arun now manages MotoCorsa, an award-winning Ducati dealership in Portland.
And now, with roaster Ristretto Roasters, he artistically packages top graade fuel and flavor for coffee riders and motorcycle lovers everywhere.
Ah, bikes and beans: A happy ending.
CorsaCaffe currently offers three distinct blends --Rosso, Nero and Decaffeinato --all fresh roasted daily and available at www.corsacaffe.com.
Maybe it's as good as Shenandoah Joes, maybe it ain't. The packaging, though, is way cool and the company knows it.
"Even if you are not a coffee drinker, you can want to obtain the coffee as a centerpiece - packaging like CorsaCaffe’s has never been seen before," the site states.
