Kawasaki recalls Z1000 for brake issue

By rainman Print Preview

Left brake could blow

Kawi's recalling the rockin' Z1000R because of issues with the front left brake, according to the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration.

NHTSA annouced the recall, noting that the brake line on the left front of the bike could come into contact with the rotor under hard, hard braking scenarios.

That could cause the rotor to sever the brake line.

That could cause the brake fluid to leak out.

That could cause the bike not to stop.

That could cause a wreck.

That could be very painful, very painful, indeed.

Owners should contact their Kawi dealer for justice.
