U.S. 129 commonly known as “The Tail of the Dragon” is closed due to a major rock slide. Darryl Canon, a.k.a. “Killboy” has a series of blog posts up now showing the carnage. The Maryville Daily Times has some more details. There is no word on when it might reopen to the public.
