OLD BLASTARD: Be glad we’re not in Indiana
Sometimes you read something that just makes you happy you live in a state as sane as Virginia.
OK, so it doesn’t happen REALLY often, what with weirdos cutting gas lines on LP tanks and tossing bricks through GOP HQ windows (does it seem somehow strange that GOP HQ is in a former bank?) and some [...]
Baby bikes and beginners
So we’re taking a break, standing by the scoots while some budding SOBs visit the Blue Room and others take a sidewalk smoke break when the question comes up as it always does: What’s the best beginner’s bike?
The answer, of course, is yes.

I felt a bit stupid sitting at the Rio Road/US 29 intersection yesterday in bright daylight, wearing a blue riding jacket with CE armor, a helmet like an American Flag and day-glo, Hi-Viz, Waste Management-approved conspicuity vest while flashing my rear brake light in bursts of three to keep some cage-cretin from cramming my back tire [...]

Work to ride, ride to work
You work hard to get enough money to buy gas, pay insurance and down the debt on your scooter, working so much that it might just feel like you work to ride.
Well, Andy Goldfine, of Aerostitch fame, wants you to ride to work as well.
Work to ride, Ride to work is the official motto of [...]
