The impossible riding postures of Orange County Choppers, and the wonderfully dysfunctional family that ran the show, are no more.
At least on television.
Word is out from TLC cable network in the entertainment press and mainstream media that Paul, Pauly and whoever the hell else was in the hour-long shout fest will not be on the little screen next year. (Check out the mainstream reports here: http://www.postchronicle.com/news/original/article_212283124.shtml)
Seems they've fought their last fight after they argued and split up. Just as well. With the Honda Fury, Harley Rocker and Rocker C, plus Yammie Raider putting out high quality, factory custom chops that don't take 40 acres to pull a u-turn, there isn't much need for a $40,000 piece of someone's pickled brain on two wheels.
Plus, who's got the money for a $40k uncomfortable monster?
What will be missed is the fact that they were entertaining enough for most people that they brought attention to motors and motor riders.
RIP OCC, you had a pretty good run for any "reality show."
And you were far more entertaining than Jon and Kate Plus 8 Plus a Court Date.
